From Uber India’s #BadhteChalein to showcasing his ‘snacking obsession’ in a Too Yumm TV commercial, isn’t the right-handed batsman everywhere showcasing his cricketing skills on-field and simultaneously becoming a favourite of the ad world.
Making his way into the list of world’s 30 most marketable athletes along with MS Dhoni, Kohli has become a brand in himself. The delhiwallah turned cricket icon currently has 19 brands in his kitty with an endorsement value of around ₹150 crore according to data from Sporting Nation in the Making V.
Last Year Kohli ended his long-standing association with PepsiCo stating that he will thereafter not sign on with brands that he doesn’t believe in or consume.
